Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Worker role based in Bicknell, IN. The Production Worker will assist with daily manufacturing activities on production lines, including operating machinery for plastic injection molding and coil assembly, handling materials, and performing basic setup or changeovers as directed. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment during operation, following work orders and production schedules, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role involves performing visual inspections and basic quality checks on parts, identifying defects, and reporting issues to supervisors. Team members are expected to follow safety procedures, collaborate with coworkers and leads, and adapt to changing production priorities or tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in production assistance and working on production lines in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate basic production and molding machinery, with attention to safe machine operation.
- Familiarity with quality control practices, including visual inspection and basic measurement tools.
- Demonstrated ability to be easily adaptable, learn new tasks quickly, and shift between different production duties.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials as required, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
