Overview:
Herman Law is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Attorney to join our legal team. This role is essential in ensuring that our organization adheres to all applicable laws, federal and state bar regulations, and internal policies. The Compliance Attorney will play a key role in risk management, regulatory interpretation, and foster a culture of ethical compliance across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify compliance risks.
- Ensure business operations comply with legal regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and implement effective compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise internal departments accordingly.
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to assess compliance.
- Provide legal support during compliance-related inquiries and audits.
- Coordinate and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
- Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of compliance.
- Draft and review legal documents related to compliance matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in legal compliance.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state bar regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex legal concepts and communicate them clearly to executive team.
- Experience with state ethics programs is a plus.

Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
