Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow an assigned territory through new business development and ongoing account management.
- Build strong relationships with customers, prospects, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct in-person customer visits, needs assessments, and solution-based sales presentations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
- Maintain accurate records of customer activity, opportunities, and forecasts.
- Stay informed on market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer satisfaction and long-term account growth.
Qualifications
- Previous outside sales experience required; equipment, transportation, or industrial sales preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Ability to manage a territory and prioritize customer activity effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within the territory.
