Position Description:
Heritage is looking for an experienced project manager with sufficient knowledge of both landscape (soft and hardscape) and light civil work. Person should have experience bidding (bid - build) commercial, industrial, and institutional landscape projects. Person will be responsible for project managing all assigned landscape projects promptly to meet deadlines. Create professional and readable proposals and send to appropriate contact. Position requires effective communication skills, organization, and time management. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, visits to job sites, communication with general contractors, homeowners, vendors. Also communication and relationship building with clients and potential customers and attending meetings with general contractors and supervisors of jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with vendors to procure materials and keep good relationships
- Maintain good relationships with past and present customers, as well as working to create new connections and leads
- Attend pre-bid meetings and walk-throughs
- Communicate with project management/estimating team.
- Communicate professionally to all personnel inside and outside the office
-Maintain confidentiality while discussing all project details outside of the Heritage office.
-Prompt replies to company email and communications.
Experience/Skills:
- General knowledge of both softscape and hardscape landscape installation practices
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- MUST be a Self-starter
- Time management skills
- Very detail oriented
- Excellent organizational skills
