Overview
The Ottawa Veterinary Clinic & Bluffton Veterinary Hospital & Pet Care Center are looking for a Full-Time, long-term, highly motivated, personable, reliable team player with enthusiasm for veterinary healthcare for our Veterinary Assistant/Client Services Representative position.
We are a high-quality, 5 doctor, small animal practice in Bluffton and Ottawa, Ohio. We also have a groomer on staff and have a boarding facility at our Bluffton location. The successful candidate must enjoy working with animals but ESPECIALLY their owners. Computer experience is a MUST. Knowledge of Clientrax software is a bonus! Applicants must be friendly, outgoing, reliable, have a polished, professional appearance, and be detail oriented.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting clients in person and on the telephone, promoting the positive image of the hospital, acting as the clients’ liaison to the doctors, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, fee collections, taking patient history, animal restraint, blood draws, administer oral and intravenous medications, assisting the veterinarian and RVTs as needed amongst other duties as assigned.
Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule including some weekend hours. One year of experience in veterinary healthcare is preferred but not required. A love of animals does not qualify one for this position. You must be able to interact with clients/the public. Competitive wage and benefits package.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
