Receptionist

WHO WE ARE

Animal Clinic of Monett, in Monett, Missouri, is a mixed animal Veterinary Practice, looking for an experienced receptionist.  We provide the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet and giving them the same loving attention and care. We are a group of highly trained, experienced staff who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible.

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday and every other Saturday. 

Responsibilities:

·       Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the clinic

·       Answer phone calls and schedule appointments as well as screen and forward calls as needed

·       Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

·       Confirm next day appointments by phone

·       Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, copying, faxing

·       Sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries

·       Ensure reception area and lobby is tidy and presentable

Skills:

·       Proven work experience as a receptionist (preferably in the veterinary industry, but we are willing to train the right candidate)

·       AVImark software knowledge is a plus

·       Multiline phones, copy/fax/printer & computer proficiency

·       Professional attitude and appearance

·       Solid written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

·       Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

·       Must have excellent customer service skills

·       Bilingual English/Spanish a HUGE plus
