What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Aide Coordinator position at Heritage Valley Health System?
Work Location: Heritage Valley School of Nursing
Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, primarily daylight. Occasional recruiting responsibilities that may occur on an evening or Saturday.
Manages, coordinates and implements the financial aid program according to School policies and Federal and State regulations. Assists in the overall fiscal operations as related to the collection of tuition, fees and financial aid. Coordinates the registration of students with the Admissions Coordinator. Conducts analyses of School of Nursing benchmarking activities required by accreditation and approval bodies. Creates programs to centralize admission, enrollment activities, and financial aid; seeks additional funding sources. Participates in School committees, recruiting and functions. Assists the Admissions Coordinator.
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in associated field: Finance, accounting. Two year’s previous financial experience.
PREFERRED:
Completion of Financial Aid Training
