What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Sales Professional position at HERITAGE TRACTOR INC?
Purpose:
Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and attachments. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
- Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
- Communicate and fill customer online parts orders via the customer portal
- Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
- Helps to keep parts department clean and orderly
- Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the Lead
- Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Helps answer phones and address customer voicemails with urgency
- Support customer
- Other duties as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills/computer aptitude
- Basic parts and machinery knowledge
- Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs. daily
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Forklift certification preferred
- Works in both office and warehouse environments, including consistently viewing a computer monitor and using keyboard/mouse
