What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher position at Heritage TMC Child Care Center?
Overview:
Heritage is a faith-based, childcare center for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our goal is to provide excellence in our academic program, a safe environment, and enjoyable activities daily. Scope of Position:
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in implementing the daily curriculum/activities, changing diapers/potty-training, feeding children, logging daily reports, engaging in play, assisting to put children to sleep, and creating a safe learning environment. The Assistant Teacher will also be responsible for completing opening and closing tasks intermittently.
Salary: $13.80-$15.00/ hour (based on experience)

*Must obtain CPR/First Aid within 90 days of hire and 16 MiRegistry P.D. hours annually

Hours of Operation:
Heritage operates Monday through Friday from 6:30AM to 6:00PM, year-round.
Schedule:
Must have open availability Monday through Friday. Shifts are 8.5 hours. Teacher will start with 32 hours per week but may need 40 hours per week occasionally.
