Duties
- Operate groundskeeping equipment including mowers, chainsaws, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain fairways, greens, tees, and surrounding landscapes.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, aerating, fertilizing, and planting to keep the course in top condition.
- Conduct groundskeeping activities to maintain safe and playable surfaces for golf play.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for landscaping tasks such as pruning trees or shrubs, installing new plantings, or repairing equipment.
- Maintain equipment through regular inspections and cleaning to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Prior experience with golf course groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to operate company vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, digging, raking, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with power tool safety procedures and proper use of hand tools such as pruners, shovels, or trimmers.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on safety standards during equipment operation and maintenance activities.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards maintaining high-quality golf course conditions in all weather conditions.
