Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Director based in Hershey, PA. The Executive Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the senior living community, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents. Responsibilities include managing community resources, leading and supporting staff, upholding regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive environment for residents, families, and employees. The role also involves strategic planning, budget management, and representing the community within public and professional forums.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including team leadership, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Operational expertise in senior living, healthcare, or related sectors, with knowledge of regulatory compliance and budget management
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to address challenges effectively and ethically
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive community culture centered on respect, compassion, and support
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Previous experience as an Executive Director or in a senior management role within a senior living or healthcare environment is highly beneficial
