Heritage School of Interior Design is approved and regulated through the Colorado State Board of Higher Education; Division of Private Occupational Schools. We offer two certification programs: Fundamentals of Interior Design Certification and Interior Design Master Certification. Both programs are comprised of a series of courses to prepare students for an entry level career in the Interior Design industry. The certification programs at Heritage are accelerated and provide very practical and application-based knowledge and skills, providing a competitive edge in the industry. Job Summary:
We are seeking an AutoCAD Teaching Assistant to support the instruction and facilitation of AutoCAD courses during Winter term, 2026. The ideal candidate will be an HSID Denver alumni who has gone through these classes within the past two years and has used AutoCAD in interior design applications. They should have a passion for helping students develop technical skills. This role involves assisting instructors and providing student support during class sessions, providing an additional office hour each week, and ensuring that course objectives are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students during class sessions by answering questions, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing guidance on projects.
- Monitor student progress and provide updates or concerns to the instructor.
- Offer additional support through office hours or discussion boards as needed.
- Stay updated with current AutoCAD features and industry practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience as a tutor, assistant, or mentor in a learning environment.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
Preferred:
- HSID Denver alumni
Compensation:
· Offering $22/hr
· Allows TA to solidify AutoCAD skills.
