Our facility in Frankfort provides an inviting, home-like environment conveniently located off Rout 35 and accessible from I-71. Surrounding communities include Washington Court House, Chillicothe, Circleville, and Greenfield. This 50-bed specialized facility meets the unique needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s and related disorders. We have created an understanding and supportive environment to enrich and maximize the quality of life for our residents. The therapy staff and interdisciplinary team strive to create a comprehensive care plan that is unique to each short-term, outpatient, or long-term patient.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic activities and interventions.
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
- Utilize knowledge in physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy.
