What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher (All Ages) position at Heritage Preschool of Homewood?
A Heritage teacher promotes academic, social-emotional growth and development of all students in their care. Teachers also develop partnerships with parents in order to engage and encourage parent participation.
Essential Functions
- Ability to maintain classroom control
- Maintain a safe and healthy classroom
- Uphold confidentiality
Daily Tasks
- Build relationships with parents and staff
- Provide a safe and clean environment for the students
- Provide supervision in the classroom, common areas and playground
- Actively engage in classroom activities
- Distribute projects and assignments to each student’s folder
- Assist in the completion of reports as needed (health, incident, accident, daily)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
