What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aquatics and Fitness Staff position at Heritage Pointe Communties?
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all individuals in and around the pool area
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents that may occur
- Perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any hazards or potential risks
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area, including regular pool cleaning duties
Experience:
- Must possess a current Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid/AED certification
- Previous lifeguard experience preferred, but not required
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety protocols
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
