Job Description
HP is seeking a motivated and growth-minded individual to join the HP team as a Retail Leasing Associate, reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Leasing. This is an important role for HP for generating deals for the HP leasing department. Our ideal candidate needs to be an extroverted self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit, confident and ready to adapt and contribute to our growth.
KEY DETAILS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Initial focus on small shop leasing within the existing portfolio, with growth into larger deals, tenant representation and developing new business.
• Source, qualify, meet and negotiate with prospects, including incoming inquiries and outgoing cold calling/walking.
• Create and enhance marketing materials and tools for finding and tracking opportunities.
• Track and report progress to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend industry conferences and networking events to find leads and represent HP
• Primarily work from outside of an office environment, with travel as required to the HP Annapolis headquarters, as well as within in Washington D.C., and Baltimore metropolitan regions.
• Compensation will be a blend of salary (W-2 and benefits), plus commission
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent references
• A positive, persistent, and proactive attitude
• Customer service oriented within the team and with existing and potential clients and prospects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Adobe, as well as strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• 1 years business development/outbound sales, preferably in commercial real estate
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Holding or ready to obtain real estate license(s) in Washington, D.C., State of Maryland, and the State of Virginia.
