What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaper (Full Time) position at Heritage Palms HOA?
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent or foreman, operate light motorized equipment, and trucks on the property of Heritage Palms. Do related work and manual labor as needed for golf course maintenance and landscaping operations.

Mows greens, tees, aprons, and approaches to greens, and other areas not accessible with gang
mowers; rakes sand traps with power rakes. - Trims, plants, shrubs, bushes, plants flowers, performs other basic landscape maintenance tasks.
- Aerifies greens; verticuts tees and greens; spikes greens; operates sod cutter, fertilizer spreaders; and mows rough with rotary mowers, and operates other equipment as directed.
- Maintains gasoline, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily; reports equipment problems and failures to equipment supervisor immediately.
- Performs basic preventive maintenance and cleaning on equipment as directed by the assistant superintendent or equipment manager; returns equipment to designated location at the maintenance facility. Utilizes loaders to remove dirt, debris, and other materials.
- Drives utility vehicles, tractors, or trucks to haul materials and refuse; operates portable pumps.
- May occasionally operate gang units and other large mowers as dictated by supervisor(s).
- May be asked to participate in course set-up and replace/move tee markers.
- Performs other duties as directed by the Assistant Superintendent or supervisor(s).
Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience:
- Knowledge of the safe mechanical operation of trucks and other motorized equipment.
- Knowledge of the principles of operation and cold starting of gasoline engines.
- Knowledge of maintenance tools.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

- Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and/or occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet, hot, cold, warm, and/or humid outside weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic and/or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud, PPE is required to be used when required to maintain health and safety.
