What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Dinning Bartender (Seasonal) position at Heritage Palms HOA?
Heritage Palms has over 1000 homes, serving a blended community of 55 members. Heritage Palms prides itself in exceptional tailored customer service for each member. The Busser exemplifies high dining standards of presentation, set up, and service. The Bartender will interact in a friendly and efficient manner with all members and guests while serving food and beverages.
- Provide to utmost in customer service with attention to detail and customer needs, and immediate attention to each guest upon seating.
- Answers questions regarding any menu item, offers suggestions and describes specials to guests.
- Takes food and beverage orders from guests, maintaining a friendly helpful attitude, follows up with guests assuring satisfaction and replenishes items as needed or requested.
- Maintain clean and organized workstation side work duties and keeps dining areas clean.
- Is responsible for all checks and transactions, funds received, signatures and assuring appropriate handling of these items.
- Follow established standards (Association policies and practices) for greeting, all services, food and beverage delivery and general service techniques.
- Responsible for detailed opening and closing duties when required.
- Maintains a professional relationship with guests.
- Follows bar set up procedures
- Assist in inventory maintenance and ordering of liquor and beverages including month end inventory also maintaining inventory through efficient and cost-effective methods.
- Must maintain a clean uniform and good personal hygiene.
- Assist in coding and processing bar and beverage invoices.
- Follow safety, health and sanitation requirements as set forth by regulatory agencies and Association.
- This position may be requested to perform tasks other than those specifically presented within this description.
- Must occupy a Riverside County Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Training certificate.
- A minimum of four years knowledge and practical experience in restaurant atmosphere specifically in a cocktail or restaurant bar.
- Must be available to work weekends and Holidays.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
- Can be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
- Able to read and write in English and communicate with all food and beverage staff.
- Good verbal communication skills, ability to maintain a professional attitude, work with; vendors, homeowners, outside customers, and all levels of staff
