Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking an HR Assistant to join our team!
The HR Assistant provides administrative, clerical and technical assistance to the HR team.
This is a Hybrid position and will report to Gerry, NY 1-2 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Human Resource department staff with HR tasks such as but not limited to onboarding duties, data entry, employee communications, HR postings and employee file maintenance.
- Assists with sourcing and screening employment resumes and applications.
- New Hire onboarding and Orientation
- Performs special projects as requested.
- Assists with Employee Relations matters by facilitating communication between the Administrator or Director and the HR Business Partner and meeting with employees.
- Meet with employees and field questions

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited College or University with an Associate’s Degree in Business or closely related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
