A Dietary Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records including resident weights, lab values, food preference, food temperatures, and accuracy/completeness of tray service. Dietary Clerk’s also assist in making sure that the department is secure and in good working order before closing. Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate records, such as but not limited to, posting of resident weights, lab values, food preference, meal/nourishment intake information, and meal census records.
- Monitors resident tray service to include documentation of food temperatures, accuracy/completeness of trays and record of meal delivery.
- Performs food preparation tasks as assigned by the cook or supervisor.
- Assists with answering phones during meal service and making any adjustments necessary to the resident meal tray.
- Schedules duties for employees during evening meal service and for duties performed after the evening meal service.
- May be responsible for assisting in serving the meals to residents.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED/TASC equivalent.
- Previous experience in institutional food service/dietary is required with a preference of two to three years experi
- Must be able to meet health assessment requirements, including required testing and health documentation.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds if necessary with the ability to sit, walk, bend, and twist. Ability to engage in repetitive motions for extended times required.
