Claims Response Apprentice

Perform insurance related water & mold mitigation within the greater Plainview, NY area. 

Responsibilities:

• Works with internal and external customers to provide an exceptional experience. 
• Inspect homes that have been affected by water, mold, wind, or fire damage.
• Performs demolition, water mitigation, mold/fire remediation as instructed.
• Delivers reports and information within time goals and established service levels.
• Performs basic equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Maintains a safe driving record and vehicle maintenance schedule on assigned company vehicles. 
• Obtains feedback from customers to improve future experiences.
• Availability for bi-weekly on-call/after-hours shifts.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.  
• Relevant experience in restoration, constructions, customer service, or trades preferred
• IICRC Certifications, Adjuster License is a plus
• Ability to climb, kneel, and crawl required; may worked in confined spaces. Ability to lift and move items up to 30lbs alone; more with assistance from a partner
• Basic computer proficiency; comfortable working with internet-based tools is required
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams proficiency is a plus
• Xactimate experience or proficiency is a plus
• Results driven with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and manages changing priorities effectively
• Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized 
• Must be available on call and weekends
• High School Diploma or equivalent and an active Driver’s License with eligible driving record are required
