What You’ll Do
As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting core accounting operations. Your work will directly impact the integrity and efficiency of our financial reporting.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with monthly close processes and financial reporting
- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual statutory financial statements
- Contribute to insurance and municipal tax filings
- Partner with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders
- Uphold company policies and regulatory requirements
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of accounting experience
- Associate’s degree in Accounting required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A team-oriented mindset with a results-driven approach
