What You’ll Do:
As our Senior Support Nurse, you will serve as a clinical operations leader who provides short-term, on-site support to communities experiencing vacancies or transitions, improving the lives of our residents and driving the success of our team by:
- Providing direct leadership coverage during Director of Healthcare, Memory Support Director or other health services vacancies, ensuring consistent service delivery and continuity of care.
- Managing care teams during interim assignments, ensuring appropriate staffing, quality care, and adherence to individualized resident service plans.
- Implementing and monitoring Heritage policies, documentation standards, and best practices to strengthen daily clinical operations.
- Partnering with Executive Directors, Regional Directors of Operations, and the Vice President of Healthcare Leadership to assess needs, report findings, and support alignment across teams.
- Partnering with the Director of Clinical Education and the community team to assist with onboarding/training for new healthcare leaders, helping to ensure smooth transitions and operational continuity.
- Conducting care observations, medication audits, and documentation reviews to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinating care with external partners such as physicians, pharmacies, and therapy providers to ensure all orders are accurately executed.
- Participating in care conferences, quality meetings, and family communications to actively support residents’ needs.
