The Full time Non-CDL Driver for Heritage Landscape is responsible for operating a vehicle for transporting goods, products, or materials. (NON CDL driving duties).
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a non-CDL vehicle ensuring all products, goods, or materials are transported to their destinations.
- Perform pre and post vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
- Load and unload vehicle as required.
- Follow delivery schedule and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during the delivery and pick-up operations.
- Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- This role involves regular physical activity - lifting, loading, unloading goods, long hours of driving.
- Candidates must be physically fit and able to frequently lift up to 50lbs., up to 75lbs, load and unload
- Drivers will work in a variety of weather conditions and must be comfortable driving in these conditions.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with using navigation systems.
- Previous experience in driving or logistics preferred.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required or combination of experience/education.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant driving experience.
- Able to pass background, driving and drug screening.
