What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator position at HERITAGE HUNT LLC?
Responsible for all aspects of Center operations including exceptional care, regulatory compliance, financial management, quality assurance, staffing, maintaining positive resident, family, employee and regulatory agency relationships.
Develops and maintains facility objectives to ensure maximum utilization of facility resources, stability of staff, regulatory compliance, and achievement of financial goals.
2. Ensures quality patient and resident care services that complies with state and federal guidelines.
3. Operates facility in compliance with established company policies and procedures and objectives. Recommends changes that are beneficial to center.
4. Promotes corporate compliance, instills in all staff the value of corporate compliance, and promotes compliance in all aspects of the operation.
5. Provides and maintains an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.
6. Establishes and ensures positive working environment to maximize employee satisfaction and retention.
7. Develops annual operating budgets for approval and implements and operates within approved budget. Approves operating expenditures up $1000.
8. Maintains facility census and directs efforts to meet census goals.
9. Directs the recruitment, hiring, and training of qualified staff to accomplish center objectives.
10. Collects receivables.
11. Ensures financial controls through accurate record keeping, expense control monitoring, and the timely information and reports.
12. Facilitates morning “stand up” meetings to monitor and communicate important information regarding facility operations and residents.
13. Reviews resident status and participates in care planning meetings with applicable staff and the attending physician to provide optimal care and use of services.
14. Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
15. Responds to concerns from employees, patients, and families according to policies and promptly resolves issues. Takes proactive steps to minimize ongoing issues.
16. Ensures maintenance and protection of the building and equipment. Directs the requisitioning and control of all materials and supplies needed to maintain authorized inventory levels within approved budgets.
17. Represents and promotes Center in the community (physicians, volunteers, church groups, community leaders etc.). 18. Manages contracts with Legal Department.
19. Ensures effective implementation of safety, fire, and accident programs.
20. Communicates effectively and keeps Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officer and others informed.
21. Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current Virginia Nursing Home Administrator License in good standing
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience as Administrator, preferred.
3. Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience with strong organization, communication, and management skills
4. Strong knowledge and understanding of the State and Federal regulations.
