Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and refining existing recipes based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Use knife skills effectively to chop, slice, dice, and fillet ingredients with precision
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours, supporting overall food service operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal preparation needs
- Proven restaurant or fine dining experience showcasing advanced cooking techniques and presentation skills
