Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR WEEKEND MORNINGS 8 AM- 2 PM.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Support bussing efforts by clearing tables and returning items to the kitchen efficiently.
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns as required.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.
