Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly to prepare for incoming guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience
- Assist servers by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently while maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks as needed, including replenishing supplies and organizing service stations
- Help with setup and breakdown of dining spaces for special events or catering functions
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Ensure all food industry sanitation standards are met by adhering to proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Act as host/hostess during high traffic hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to uphold hygiene standards in all areas of the dining space
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact politely with guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and moving supplies comfortably
