What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Busser position at Heritage Hotel Golf Spa and Conference Center?
$16.35 and up
Responsibilities:- Reset tables for the next guests by clearing away dirty dishes, and setting new place settings, napkins, and silverware
- Bring customers beverages, refill glasses, bring extra plates or napkins to customers, and make sure condiments are refilled and brought to the table
- Bring customers to their tables, communicate with customers regarding any special needs, and relay any issues to the waiter
- Responsible for delivering food to the table on time, making sure to ask if customers need anything more before leaving
- Oversee restaurant stock and refill condiments as needed. Make sure each waiter station is filled with all the needed items
- Must have a high school diploma or possess an equivalent GED
- Prior experience working in the food service industry is preferred, but not required
- Willing to work some nights, weekends, and some holidays, plus pick up extra shifts if necessary
- Know the basics of how to handle food items and kitchen equipment
- Comfortable with frequent, extended periods of standing, lifting, and bending for the entire shift and/or closing
