What You'll DoAs a PRN Caregiver, you'll provide non-medical personal care and companionship to clients in their homes while promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Providing mobility assistance and transfers
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders and delegated care tasks, as permitted
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Transporting or accompanying clients to appointments and errands
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
- Following individualized care plans and agency policies
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous professional caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Current automobile insurance
- Willingness to travel between client homes
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
