Job Summary
Bilingual Caregiver (Spanish & English) – Germantown, MD 20874
(47 Hours per week, Monday - Saturday) Recurrent.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents in a home health settings. This role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to caregiving. The Location is Germantown, MD 20874
- Monitor the health and well-being of residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
- Uphold resident rights while maintaining confidentiality and dignity at all times.
- Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring residents safely.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document care provided and report any changes in resident conditions to appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health or assisted living is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift and assist residents as needed while following safety protocols.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory.
