Duties
- Safely operate our Nissan NV200 vehicle to deliver floral arrangements to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload flowers, vases, and delivery supplies efficiently
- Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while maintaining flexibility for route adjustments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients courteously, answering questions about products, and ensuring their satisfaction upon delivery.
- Verify delivery orders against packing lists to ensure accuracy before departure.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure optimal operation .
- Communicate effectively with the shop team regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
- Assist with flower shop tasks such as organizing inventory or preparing flowers for upcoming deliveries when not on route.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with flower shops or in similar environments involving route driving.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to lift up to 20LBs and floral arrangements repeatedly
- Knowledge experience with load & unload procedures ensures safe handling of deliveries.
- Warehouse or flower shop experience helpful for managing inventory and organizing supplies efficiently.
