Heritage Fence Company is looking for an Welder Fabricator to join our growing team This role is a great opportunity for a detail-orientated individual with experience in the construction industry. We service the Residential, Commercial, and Industrial markets in eastern PA, MD, DE, VA, NJ, NY with a focus on all types of Fencing (Wood, PVC, Aluminum, Chain Link, Steel, Temporary, etc) Railings, Wooden & Steel Guide Rails, Dumpster Enclosures, Anti-Climb, Temporary Pedestrian Barriers, Jersey Barriers (PVC & Concrete), Gate Operators, Access Control and much more
Responsibilities:
- Willingness to Travel (Occasional travel due to job location)
- Work in both our shop and on job sites as a welder, mechanic or by assisting others
- Manage fab shop equipment and metal fabrication
- Consistently evaluate processes, recommend changes when appropriate
- Meet with decision makers to discuss project options and take measurements
- Daily communication with Operations to ensure smooth installation of projects
- Work independently when required
- Help manage operating expenses by allocating materials for minimal waste, facilitating clean transitions from one job to the next
- Plan, implement and manage tasks in accordance with priorities and adhere to relevant safety regulations and requirements
- Peacefully resolve any problems or issues that may arise
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience
- Reliable transportation to/from the office
- Valid Driver's License
- US Citizenship or Working Visa
- Ability to lift 80lbs
- Ability to pass new hire and random drug test
- Ability to work full time M – F, 7am – 5pm (flex schedule available) & occasional Saturday mornings
- Detail oriented and experienced in Stick, TIG & MIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints and layout materials
- Good math skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills, multi-tasking skills
