The Mortgage Servicing Specialist III is responsible for the timely review, funding, and shipping of investor loans, as well as daily postings. This position also assists with the monthly escrow analysis process and coordinates the HMDA reporting and file maintenance that is required to comply with the HMDA LAR code for all mortgages.

The Mortgage Servicing Specialist III is responsible for the timely review, funding, and shipping of investor loans, as well as daily postings. What You’ll Do
- Assumes responsibility for the accurate and timely input and funding of new mortgage and construction loans into FICS and Symitar. Build and organize the file and submit the service event for quality assurance.
- Create investor sales contracts and track gain on sale.
- Prepare and ship investor loans by entering loans into the appropriate selling system and sending them to Document Custodian
- Manage the Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Statement Processing, including Year End
- Responsible for submission of HMDA records
- Assist Lending Resolutions with delinquent mortgage loans
- Handle Freddie Mac expense reimbursement requests and PMI claims for foreclosed properties
- High school diploma required, degree or advanced certification in accounting-related field preferred
- Five or more years of previous experience required
- Understanding of mortgage products and services
- Experience servicing Freddie Mac loans preferred
- Familiarity with accounting procedures, reconcilements, and accrual accounting
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software and all department software applications
- Understanding of all mortgage servicing rules and regulation
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized.
