Dishwasher (Part-time)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team for brunch service (Saturday & Sunday, 10-4) and one or two extra lunch or weekend dinner shifts as needed throughout the week.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Assist front of house staff as needed by bussing and cleaning of tables during peak times.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and storage areas.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Help with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen staff.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing excellent service in a restaurant setting.
