We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate nutritional needs and dietary habits.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments, ensuring alignment with health goals.
- Provide education and support on tube feeding protocols when necessary.
- Offer health coaching to patients, empowering them to make informed dietary choices for improved health outcomes.
- Supervise dietary department staff, ensuring compliance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate nutrition into overall patient care strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest research in dietetics and nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Assist in weight loss programs by designing tailored meal plans that promote healthy weight management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and its application in nutrition care.
- Experience in patient assessment and developing care plans is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dietary systems and regulations within healthcare settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and staff.
- Proven ability to supervise staff and manage departmental operations efficiently.
