Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC , a leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools, is seeking a qualified Production Control Manager
to oversee production planning and execution, ensuring efficiency, quality and on-time delivery.
Dauphin Precision Tool goes to market under the Brubaker and Weldon names. Brubaker Tool was established in 1881 and produces end mills and taps, with an increasing emphasis on threading products, particularly high-performance taps. Weldon Tool was established in 1918. Weldon products include high speed steel and cobalt end mills, premium carbide end mills, zero flute countersinks and many specialty tools. Brubaker and Weldon are part of the Heritage Cutter family of cutting tools and brands.
The ideal candidate will manage production schedules, resource allocation, and staff, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing goals. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a detail-orientated approach to production processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet demand and production goals.
- Actively participates in, and achieves, projects to improve our purchasing efficiency and reduce purchased goods costs, consistent with the specified level of performance and quality of our purchased goods and raw materials
- Monitor workflow and production output to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with departments such as Production, Sales, Quality Control and Engineering to ensure a cohesive production plan..
- Lead, motivate, and direct Production Control staff to achieve optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production planning and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with production planning software and systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
