Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with hands-on experience in various automotive repair techniques. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently and effectively to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs while ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs, including collision repair and restoration of vehicles
- Perform All Repairs with Pride of Workmanship and Integrity ( I cannot Teach This Skill)
- Complete All Repairs Following Manufacture Repair Procedures
- Complete All Assigned Training On Time: ICAR Etc. Etc,
- Utilize MIG welding, fabrication, and soldering techniques to repair damaged components
- Conduct mechanical inspections and vehicle maintenance as needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for various tasks
- Work with sheet metal for repairs and replacements
- Execute detailing tasks to ensure vehicles are clean and presentable
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Lift heavy components safely as part of the repair process
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in a production oriented automotive repair environment
- ICAR Certifications and State Licenses a must
- Ability To Work In a Flat Rate Production Environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Experience in auto painting techniques is preferred
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills for effective customer interaction
