What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Cook/Baker position at Heritage Coffee Roasting Co.?
Our Kitchen crew members are responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches, salads, & burritos. They may also be responsible for prepping fruit and vegetables for smoothies and baking off a variety of simple desserts. They perform many functions that include, but are not limited to: slicing, dicing, chopping, mixing and portioning ingredients. Kitchen crew members must be detail-oriented, demonstrate a commitment to quality service and sanitation, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Follow company recipes precisely to maintain product consistency
· Assist with receipt of supply deliveries
· Monitor oven to ensure proper bake times and temps
· Package product according to customer orders
· Clean and maintain kitchen and all baking equipment
Requirements
· 6 months experience working in a commercial kitchen is preferred
· Must be knowledgeable in food handling, food safety and sanitation
· A positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Have or be able to obtain Alaska Food Worker Card within 30 days post-hire
· Eligible to work in the United State and 18 years of age of older
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
