What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative/Sales Associate position at Heritage Coffee Roasting Co.?
This position acts as the lead customer service representative and order clerk for the Heritage Coffee Roasting Company offices. Applicant must be available to work these hours: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Responsibilities
· Answer incoming phone calls with a friendly, helpful tone. Screen, transfer and take messages as needed.
· Greet and assist customers in the main reception area.
· Communicate with warehouse, delivery, café and service personnel.
· Call weekly list of customers per the shipping schedule and take orders.
· Promote new products to customers as needed.
· Accurately enter and convey all sales orders to the production team.
· Manage the orders to make sure they are being sent on correct day and time, that there are no orders that are missed, etc.
· Produce invoices and send to customers. Process payments, credits and other adjustments as necessary.
· File paperwork from invoices, sales orders, payables, receivables, etc.
· Prepare morning coffee and run occasional office errands.
· Maintain a clean workspace.
· Full time employees may also be assigned various projects and tasks having to do with many aspects of the company. For example: social media content creation, product development , skills workshops & event planning.
Requirements
· A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
· 1 year of office experience.
· Good telephone, reception, & organizational skills are required.
· A working knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, & Excel is preferred.
· Candidates should be able to multitask and function well in a fast-paced work environment.
· Have or be able to obtain Alaska Food Worker Card within 30 days post-hire.
· Eligible to work in the United States.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
