What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian/Janitor position at Heritage Christian School?

School Custodian/Sanitation

Schedule: Part-time, year-round with afternoon/evening shift

Pay: $15-$18 per hour based on experience

Schedule: School year: 3:30pm-8:30pm Monday-Friday. Day shift available during the summer

Qualifications:

· High school diploma/GED preferred

· Able to lift 50 pounds

· Able to stand/walk the majority of the shift

· Able to climb ladders and stairs

· Work independently without direct supervision

· Abide by Heritage Christian School Statement of Faith and Philosophy

· Able to pass Ohio Revised Code required background check and drug/alcohol testing

· Previous experience preferred

Role and Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and healthy environment for all students and staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

· Make sure all areas are clean and presentable

· Clean bathrooms

· Clean and mop floors

· Buff hallways

· Empty bathroom trash and pick-up exterior trash

· Deep clean during breaks

· Move, assemble and reorganize equipment

· Assist with general school cleanliness and maintenance

· Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
