Key Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in planning and running practices, including skills instruction (full swing, short game, putting, course management) and conditioning
- Provide individual coaching and encouragement to players of varying skill levels
- Support team supervision and logistics at practices, matches, and tournaments
- Help foster a team culture grounded in Christian character, sportsmanship, and integrity
- Communicate appropriately with players, parents, and school staff under the head coach's direction
- Assist with equipment, scheduling, transportation coordination, and other game-day duties as needed
- Uphold all HCA, league, and state athletic association rules and standards

Requirements
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the game of golf and the ability to teach fundamentals; playing or coaching experience preferred
- A personal faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with HCA's mission and statement of faith
- Strong character, reliability, and the ability to model Christ-like leadership for student-athletes
- Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively with the head coach and athletic staff
- Must pass a background check and complete any required coaching certifications (e.g., concentration/concussion training, league requirements)
- Prior experience coaching or mentoring youth preferred
