Job Summary:
The Personal Banker is responsible for building strong customer relationships by providing financial solutions tailored to individual needs. This role involves assisting customers with opening accounts, processing transactions, offering financial advice, and recommending banking products and services. Hours:
· Hours vary between Monday – Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm, Saturday 8:30am – 12:00pm
Essential Functions:

· Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
· Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
· Provide personalized financial guidance to help customers achieve their financial goals.
· Promote and sell banking products, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, and loans.
· Meet or exceed sales goals and referral targets.
· Identify opportunities to refer customers to mortgage, business banking, other banking products.
· Open and manage customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
· Assist with processing transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
· Resolve account-related inquiries and issues promptly.
· Ensure all transactions and account openings comply with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
· Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality.
· Stay informed about fraud prevention measures and assist in identifying potential security risks.
· Assist with daily branch operations, including handling cash as needed.
· Collaborate with the teller team to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
· Participate in training and development programs to stay up to date on bank products and policies.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Duties:
· Support branch activities and promotional events to increase customer engagement.
· Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
· Stay informed about new banking products and services to provide expert guidance.
· Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support overall branch success.

Education and Experience:

· Prior banking, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
· Previous banking experience required.
Work Environment & Schedule:
· Work is performed in a bank branch setting.
· Schedule may include weekends and extended hours, depending on branch needs.
· Frequent customer interaction, requiring strong relationship-building skills.
