Heritage Avonlea of Olathe is seeking a Director of Maintenance for our Assisted Living Community. Health care maintenance experience. General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and floor installation is required. HVAC experience is a plus.Duties include:Repair/replacement of faucets, toilets, and pipes.Replacing/adding additional lighting to existing circuits.Installation of vinyl flooring.Drywall/painting.Monthly fire drills, smoke detector checks, water temp checks.Scheduling outside contractors when necessary.Fan coil unit trouble shooting.Light kitchen equipment repair.Responds to and completes resident work orders, insuring the quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction.General day-to-day maintenance .This position is Monday-Friday full time with required on-call for emergency problems.Candidate should be organized, outgoing, friendly, have basic computer skills, and have good communication skills.
