What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness Coach/Personal Trainer position at Heretic Crossfit?
We're looking to hire 2-3 trainers/coaches that are interested in becoming a PT/FT coach to help us attain our mission of getting people fit and keeping them fit for life.
We're looking for people who:
- Have a team mindset of “What can I bring to the table and how can I contribute?”
- Is who gives a sh*t about helping other people achieve their goals.
- Knows that building a book of clients takes time.
- Is coachable and has a desire to learn.
- Wants to be a part of a co-op team that’s bigger than themselves.
- Has a genuine desire to help people and connect on a deeper level.
If any of the above sounds like you, we'd like to meet you and see if you'd be a good fit for us. Following below is a list of things the job requires you to perform on a regular basis:
Primary Responsibilities (what to expect):
- Coach 6-8 group classes per week (initially 1-2 and build as you grow)
- Perform 12-15 PT sessions per week (Fundamentals or on-going PT)
- Client management and professional development for 2-5 hours per week
- Consulting with prospective members
- General gym tidiness (because we don't want the gym looking like crap).
Job Pre-Requisites (must haves)
- CF L1, ACSM, NASM, ACE or other national recognized certification
- Entrepreneurial spirit, drive and self-motivation (you have to want to help people).
- Approaches fitness as a lifelong student
- Easy to get along with - natural communicator (no assholes)
- Social media knowledge (in this day and age, you gotta post on the socials)
