What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Nurse position at Hereford Elementary School?
POSITION TITLE: Staff Nurse (LPN or RN)- Float Nurse Elementary
REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Monday- Friday, full-time (7.5 hours, plus 30-minute unpaid lunch)
QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid PA RN or LPN license
- Experience with school aged children preferred

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.

Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Daily nursing duties including routine health assessments
- dispensing medications, providing necessary health care/first aid, etc.
- Assisting on field trips, across the district, as needed
- Other duties as assigned

- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
- School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
