What's the role?
- Strong coding expertise in Java / Scala / Python, with ability to design and maintain complex services
- Lead the development of features and platform enhancements with end‑to‑end ownership
- Hands-on experience architecting, developing and operating scalable services on AWS
- Communicate technical designs through proposals, design specs, diagrams
- Collaborate effectively with globally distributed stakeholders including architects, PMs, and cross-functional teams
- Drive engineering best practices with a focus on simplicity, quality, and measurable impact
- (Good to have) Make balanced technical decisions, managing trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
- Recommend and justify architectural or product changes using data-driven reasoning and technical depth
- Mentor team members and contribute to improving engineering culture, processes, and standards
