Position Summary:
The Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities. This role will serve as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring exceptional service and project execution. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven professional with a strong understanding of the sales cycle and a passion for delivering tailored solutions in the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and secure new accounts in target industries by understanding their needs and providing tailored Hercules solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned customer accounts, providing consistent communication, support, and service.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Driveaway to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare quotes and estimates for customers, sending them in a timely manner based on the request.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and product improvements.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue goals of the company.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM software.
- Participate in industry trade shows, networking events, and on-site customer visits as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales/account management experience; manufacturing or transportation industry experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and a strong customer-first mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).
