Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Material Handler located in Fort Wayne, IN. The Material Handler will be responsible for managing the movement of materials within the facility, including shipping and receiving, unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and packing orders for distribution. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving processes, including preparing and inspecting shipments
- Experience with Unloading and Material Handling to ensure safe and efficient material movement
- Strong skills in Inventory Control and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Ability to effectively perform Packing tasks, ensuring items are secure and meet quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a physically active role
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; prior experience in a similar role is a plus
