What We Offers: Starting Pay: $35-$40 /hr (depending on experience) Medical, Dental and Vision benefits (Union plan), 401k Paid Time Off, Paid Every Friday! 10k sign on bonus for experienced Concrete Plant Maintenance *(1 or more years) Responsibilities Include: Repair, Diagnose, and maintain all plant concrete mixing equipment along with other vehicle and operating equipment (skids, loader, conveyor belts, mixer drums, etc.) Repair diesel trucks, trailers and heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials Previous experience in electrical wiring, control panels, and circuit boards, compressors, valves, etc. Landing gear/Tire repair Performing routine building maintenance Welding and Metal Fabrication on plant as need Must be able to work varying shift times or day and Weekends as required Job Requirements: 6 months of experience desired Basic set of tools Valid Driver’s License with the ability to travel to different Concrete plants in the Metro Detroit area as necessary.
